We're Jon and Meredith, a husband and wife team from Philadelphia, PA running a family-owned small business built on a genuine love for rare plants and the people who collect them.

Rare Root Supply is a licensed and registered plant nursery with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. We started with a simple goal: make rare plants accessible. We wanted to build a place where collectors at every level could find something special at a fair, honest price, without the barriers that usually come with finding truly rare varieties.

Every order that leaves our hands is personally packed by us, with care and attention to detail, because your plants deserve to arrive the way you imagined them.

We run weekly live auctions on Palmstreet, ship nationwide, and have built a reputation in the collector community for quality plants, honest pricing, and packaging that actually protects what you paid for.

At the end of the day, our goal is simple, help everyone find their dream plant at a price that makes sense.
